President Donald Trump continues to keep the world and lawmakers in the U.S. on edge as he weighs getting the country directly involved in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
Trump signaled on Thursday that he would make the decision to assist Israel in striking nuclear sites in Iran within the next two weeks, adding that he could wait until the last minute to make the final decision.
The president met with his national security team in the Situation Room on Wednesday for a second consecutive day while opening weighing the possibility of striking Iran.

“Nobody knows what I’m going to do,” Trump told reporters at the White House. “I like to make a final decision one second before it’s due.”
One administration official told the New York Post that Trump has been delaying the decision because he doesn't want Iran to become “another Libya” if Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei is killed and wholesale regine change is carried out in the country.
