Expert Warns: US on Brink of War in the Middle East by Week's End
Weapons expert William R. Forstchen has made a bold prediction that the U.S. will be drawn into the Middle East conflict by week's end. It comes after Trump said he will make a decision on whether the US will strike Iran within two weeks .
In an interview with Express US, Forstchen expressed his belief in the timeliness of starting construction on Donald Trump's Golden Dome, stating, "Oh, I think it's the perfect time because we are seeing a war in the Middle East, all out, both sides," and confidently declared, "And I do predict we're going to get into it by the end of the week."
He further commented on Iran's longstanding tension with the U.S. and Israel , saying, "Iran has been a thorn in the side of this country for decades," and "It's been a deadly thorn for Israel. I'm glad we're doing it now. I think it's a good time to pitch this system."

Trump unveiled his ambitious $175 million Golden Dome project last month, which was initially conceived in January. The plan involves creating a vast network of satellites designed to detect, track, and potentially neutralize incoming missiles, with Trump aiming for the system to be operational by the end of his term in 2029.
Despite calls from Trump's MAGA supporters to avoid another "forever war,"—echoing the sentiment surrounding American involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq—Trump has not yet indicated his stance on the matter, reports the Express US .

"I may do it, I may not do it. Nobody knows what I want to do. But I can say this: Iran's got a lot of trouble and wants to negotiate," Trump declared today while addressing the press on the South Lawn at the White House. He then doubled down on his stance that Iran should have been more willing to engage in talks before Israel launched their initial attack.
To thoroughly dismantle Iran's nuclear capabilities , Israel would need to strike Fordow, its most fortified site. For such an operation, Israel would likely need massive "bunker buster" bombs.

Trump has at his disposal a vast array of military assets in the Middle East and globally, which could be mobilized for a showdown with Iran as he faces one of the most critical foreign policy decisions of his term. This arsenal includes potent munitions, stealth bombers capable of long-range missions, an aircraft carrier strike group, Navy destroyers, and ground forces, providing Trump with various strategic choices should he decide to take a more active role in backing Israel .
Some of these military tools, like the B-2 bomber, are stationed within the US, while others are either already in the region or en route. The Islamic Republic has been under significant assault, especially from Israel , which has aimed at its nuclear and military infrastructure, resulting in substantial damage to key sites and the elimination of top figures.
"Each bunker buster can be separately targeted and deployed, allowing for the precise delivery of one MOP (Massive Ordnance Penetrator) directly on another," stated Rebecca Grant, an analyst at the Lexington Institute. According to Grant, drone surveillance could "refine the strike just moments before it occurs, adding that Iranian nuclear sites like Fordow have been evaluated by the US for many years."
