Bruce Springsteen Slams Donald Trump as a "Moron" in Blistering Attack
Bruce Springsteen has come out swinging against President Donald Trump , slinging the label "moron" to describe the president in a fresh, blistering critique.
The "Born in the U.S.A." legend , caught up in an ongoing spat with the commander-in-chief, decried the nation's woes as an "American tragedy" and blasted the person at the helm. In conversation with The New York Times, he declared, "It's an American tragedy."
"I think that it was the combination of the deindustrialisation of the country and then the incredible increase in wealth disparity that left so many people behind. It was ripe for a demagogue," he continued.

"And while I can't believe it was this moron that came along, he fit the bill for some people," Springsteen said, "But what we've been living through in the last 70 days is things that we all said, 'This can't happen here.' 'This will never happen in America.' And here we are."

Springsteen didn't hold back on Trump's contentious immigration stance either, which ignited chaos in Los Angeles and led to Trump sending in numerous National Guardsmen to tackle the "address the lawlessness" alongside the ICE unrest.
Reflecting on his time in California , he remarked, "When I went to California, obviously there was a large migrant culture. I was interested in the history of it, because I felt that this is the future of the United States - which it has become."
Springsteen expressed his revulsion, calling what’s unfolding in the US "disgusting" and a "terrible tragedy." He remarked, "There are communities all across America now that have taken in immigrants and migrant workers."
"So what's going on at the moment to me is disgusting, and a terrible tragedy," he said. "We have a long democratic history. We don't have an autocratic history as a nation. It's fundamentally democratic, and I believe that at some point that's going to rear its head and things will swing back. Let's knock on wood."
The heat turned up when The Boss, aged 75, critiqued the "corruption" and "incompetence" of Trump's governance during a show in Manchester. Trump, aged 78, lashed out, taking to Truth Social for a caustic reprisal, branding Springsteen a "pushy, obnoxious JERK."
Springsteen didn't hold back with his frequent condemnations of the "corruption" and "incompetence" within the Trump administration.
At the start of his performance in Manchester, with the tune Land of Hope and Dreams echoing through the venue, he greeted his fans, "It's great to be in Manchester and back in the UK. Welcome to the Land of Hope and Dreams Tour! The mighty E St. Band is here tonight to call upon the righteous power of art, of music, of rock 'n' roll in dangerous times."
Subsequently, in the world of music, allies like Neil Young stood firmly with Springsteen, clearly stating that fear of Trump wasn't on their setlist.
