You're Not Coming? Demanding More Than Sane and Son Heung-min's High-Stakes Negotiations with Tottenham!

Leroy Sane's trip to Tottenham was also in trouble.

On the 7th (local Korean time), British journalist Dean Jones mentioned during an interview with "Farha" that Sanes demands an annual salary of 18.5 million euros. Currently at Tottenham, Son Heung-min earns the highest salary, amounting to 12 million euros per year. Given Tottenham’s strict adherence to their salary structure, they are understandably hesitant about meeting this demand.

Initially, Sane seemed destined to remain at Bayern, despite ultimately parting ways with them. Known as one of Germany’s standout forwards, Sane first showcased his remarkable abilities during his time at Schalke starting in 2014 before transferring to Manchester City in 2016. His performances were impressive throughout his tenure in Manchester City too. With his lightning-fast sprints and precise left-foot shots, Sane became a key player for the German national team. Nonetheless, injuries have led to inconsistent displays from him ever since joining Bayern Munich. Successes brought out top-tier play, whereas setbacks fell short of anticipated levels. Consequently, this inconsistency reduced his standing compared to earlier days following his move to Bayern Munich. Yet, he remains a valuable asset nonetheless.

Sane had doubts about remaining in Bayern. Similarly, Bayern showed reluctance about having Sane stay with them. Nevertheless, his resolve strengthened as he suggested that Sané might be open to taking a pay reduction. Under these circumstances, Saudi Arabia presented an impressive offer; however, Sané remained steadfast.

Sky Sports said `Saudi Arabia's RT Hard has offered Sane an annual salary of 100 million euros for four years. But Sane refused to do so. Saudi Arabia is still desperate to bring in star-studded players. He does not hesitate to offer a huge salary. He reached out to Sane, too.

But in Sane's mind was Bayern. According to Sky Sports, Sane doesn't think his time at Bayern is over yet. Sane expressed satisfaction with his life in Munich. Sane wanted to win the European Champions League at Bayern.

According to Sky Sports, the extension of Bayern's agreement with Sane hasn't been finalized just yet, but it is expected to conclude within one or two weeks. The new deal between Bayern and Sane is set to keep him at the club through till 2028.

However, the circumstances have abruptly shifted. According to Sky Sports, 'Sane switched agents just before the deadline.' Although I had come to an understanding with my former representative, changing agents completely altered the scenario. Sane informed the Bayern leadership that he intended to consult with his newly appointed agent, Fini Zahavi, which left the Bayern officials quite astonished.

Sky Sports expressed dissatisfaction with Sane, who originally agreed to Bayern’s conditions. Following Alphonso Davies’ renewal and receipt of an advance payment, Sane also desires similar treatment.

Sane's turnaround caused great anger in Bayern management. I've been handing over the offer for quite a while, and even though I actually gave the OK sign, I expressed dissatisfaction with the last-minute change of position. The Bayern management thought that Sport did not know exactly what he wanted. It has been said that Zahavi has promised a more favorable contract, but Bayern management has no intention of changing the offer. He said he had already informed the player of this fact.

In fact, there is no big disagreement in terms of the amount. Bayern offered an annual salary of 10 million euros and a maximum of 15 million euros, including bonuses. However, Zahavi offered an annual salary of 12 million euros and a bonus of 3 million euros. However, according to Sport, the head of Max Ebe cannot raise a penny. Bayern are convinced that Sane needs constant pressure to perform well. In fact, Sane performed at his best when he was in doubt about renewing his contract.

Nevertheless, Sane ultimately declined Bayern's proposal. The leader of Ebele also verified this information.

For now, Sane considers his move to the English Premier League as the number one priority. Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham showed interest. Tottenham held full-fledged negotiations with Sane, raising the possibility of Son Heung-min going to Saudi Arabia. Sané also showed interest in Tottenham, who will play in the European Champions League.

However, Tottenham seem to be withdrawing their interest, citing an exorbitantly high transfer fee as the reason.
