Toddler dies following car crash in southwest Houston, authorities say

A toddler died following a car crash Wednesday night in southwest Houston, police said.

Just after 8 p.m., Houston Police officers and the Vehicular Crimes Division were investigating a fatal crash at 3400 Ocee St. near Richmond Avenue. A 2-year-old female died after being transported to the hospital, police said. It was not clear what led to the crash or how the child died.
