Premier League Blues: Stats Reveal Disappointing Season

Tottenham finished 17th in the Premier League in 2024-25, albeit with some contributing factors, such as injuries to several key players and a concentration on the Europa League in the latter stages of the campaign.
Although Tottenham secured a spot in next season's Champions League by winning the Europa League, they experienced a significant downturn in their league performance, as evidenced by several striking numbers:
- Only the three teams that were relegated along with the team that finished in 16th place Wolves surrendered over 65 goals that Tottenham Hotspur conceded in the Premier League during the 2024-25 season.
- Tottenham lost 22 games in the Premier League. The only sides who lost more were the bottom three: Ipswich, Leicester and Southampton.
- Since the 2007-08 season, when Tottenham Hotspur secured an 11th place finish along with winning the League Cup, they have consistently remained within the top 10 of the Premier League standings.
