Inzaghi Exits Inter Milan by Mutual Agreement

Inter Milan and coach Simone Inzaghi have mutually agreed to terminate their relationship following the team's heavy defeat in the UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
The individual, aged 49 and appointed by the Serie A team in 2021, has frequently been associated with potentially becoming the new manager of Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal club.
"It is now time for me to bid farewell to this club following a four-year tenure, throughout which I have poured my all into every match," stated Inzaghi, who claimed six titles with Inter.
I wish to devote my final thoughts to the countless Inter supporters who enthusiastically supported me, shed tears during tough times, and rejoiced and celebrated with us through the six victories we shared together.
I'll always remember you.
Following a discussion between Inzaghi and Inter on Tuesday, news of his exit was revealed.
Inter Milan stated, 'The club and Simone Inzaghi have decided to go separate ways,' adding that this choice was made through mutual consent.
During his time at San Siro, Inzaghi claimed one Serie A championship, two Coppa Italy titles, and three Supercoppa Italiana victories.
He led Inter to two Champions League finals, but they lost 1-0 to Manchester City in the 2022-23 season and subsequently endured a historic 5-0 loss against PSG during the current campaign.
They narrowly missed winning the 2024-25 Serie A title by just one point to Napoli.
Inzaghi's departure comes before Inter's participation in the newly expanded Fifa Club World Cup, which takes place in the United States between 14 June and 13 July.
Al-Hilal will also be involved in the competition.
