Trump Alerts: Supreme Court Ruling Against Him Could Ravage U.S.

However, his attempts to proceed with this plan were halted due to legal intervention. In April, the Supreme Court prevented him from utilizing the Alien Enemies Act, a measure that was supposed to grant him the power to deport and imprison non-citizens. He said: "If we're not allowed to send the murderers and other criminals of every type, size, and shape, IMMEDIATELY out of our Country, we aren't going to have a Country anymore. Support for Trump's immigration policies among the general population varies. April Echelon Insights survey Of the 1,014 likely voters surveyed, 54% expressed approval for Trump's handling of immigration issues, whereas 44% indicated disapproval.

A previous Echelon Insights poll of 1,007 likely voters, conducted March 10-13, found that Trump commanded more support for his policies with 57 percent approving and 39 percent disapproving.
