Portion of SL 335 closed Thursday for paving operation

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Department of Transportation Amarillo District said parts of State Loop 335 are set to be closed Thursday for paving operations.

On May 22, starting at 11 a.m., northbound SL 335 is set to be closed from south of Tascosa Road (FM 1061) to north of Tascosa Road for paving operations.

Officials said traffic will be detoured off the main lanes and can re-access the road at the next entrance ramp north of Tascosa Road. TxDOT estimates the work to be completed by 2 p.m.

TxDOT asks drivers to use caution and reduce speeds through all work zones.
