Crash in Chandler Forces Road Closure; Drivers Urged to Seek Alternatives

Someone has died following an accident in the East Valley.

The Chandler police were called to an incident close to the intersection of Dobson Road and Highland Street on Sunday night. According to authorities, a car hit a utility pole before bursting into flames.

The crew at the accident site managed to extract the individual from the vehicle; however, the person was declared deceased upon removal.

The police have no details regarding what caused the accident or the identity of the deceased individual.

A road closure has been implemented on Dobson Road and Highland Street. Motorists are advised to steer clear of this zone.
