Businesses Hang Signs in Support of IV Waste, Aiming to Capture City Leaders' Attention
Ty Green stated that losing their contract and leaving the French Quarter would be utterly devastating.
French Quarter employees say they do not want to see cleaning efforts from IV Waste in the trash.
" They've consistently done an excellent job," Green stated.
As a final attempt, they have put up numerous signs, aiming to convey a message to local officials, following the city’s announcement that they will terminate their agreement with the present street-cleaning firm.
"The roads are clear, the roads are spotless. IV Pressure Washing takes care of the streets, but we're unsure if the following business will maintain this standard," Green mentioned.

Green stated that they desire consistency in maintaining the cleanliness of the quarter.
"I simply find that we end up with loads of garbage, and individuals rummaging through it, causing everything to be scattered about. Yet every morning when I wake up, it’s all cleaned up; I remain consistently surprised by this," stated Jeffie Lanter from Road Kill Boutique.
Lanter lives and works in the French Quarter. She said IV waste has made the area the cleanest she's ever seen it.
"I believe they're doing an excellent job; we have quite a bit of litter in this sector, but they are really on top of it," Lanter stated.
City leaders say the Henry Consulting Company will take over the contract this summer.
In a statement, Henry Consulting Company leaders say the team is excited to be selected to service the French Quarter, and they are looking forward to keeping the area clean.
